Meet the boss !  

Britt started Enhanced Hair and Beauty in 2017 and her goal was to have a happy, friendly and professional environment to provide all hair and beauty services to everyone.

Brittany being local and doing her apprenticeship in Lindisfarne, she wanted to stay in the area and provide amazing services to the local community.

She now has 2 salons one in the city in Centrepoint and the other being in Lindisfarne.

All this while juggling 2 beautiful little boys and her 2 cats and 2 dogs.

She’s a powerhouse this one !!

Britt is a Keune colour master and international master colourist, she travelled to Rio in 2018 to further her skills and boy did she come back full of ideas.

Britt’s passion is achieving amazing hair transformation whether this is through colouring, cutting or an amazing blow out.

Britt also loves styling for your special events, especially weddings.

When Britt isn’t in the salon she is spending time with her boys Cooper and Lachlan, but she is at her happiest when sitting by the water with a cocktail in hand.

Karen is our barbering specialist and manager. Karen chose to specialise in the men’s hairdressing side of the industry back in 1983. She has worked for several barber shops in Hobart as well as competed in many hairdressing competitions throughout the state. Karen taught men’s hairdressing at TasTAFE college Hobart. Karen welcomes all existing and new clients and looks forward to meeting you in the salon very soon.

Alison joined the South Terrace team in 2020. She would love to get to know you and inspire lots of new hair ideas for your future hair goals. She is passionate about artistic hairstyles and is a creative thinker in all areas of life. In her spare time, Alison loves to suss out the hot spots of Hobart and enjoy a bit of sunshine.

Brooke started at South Terrace in 2017, she completed her apprenticeship with us and qualified as a Cert III Hairdresser in 2020. Brooke has loved working with all the different stylists at South Terrace and learning about all aspects of hairdressing.

In her spare time, she competes in state-wide speed boat racing competitions and loves hanging out with her friends. Brooke is looking forward to welcoming new and existing clients into our salon.

Teegan has been hairdressing for over 7 years. She loves all aspects of hairdressing but specialises in colour (particularly blondes) and loves to put her knowledge to the test. Teegan also loves barbering and kids hair cuts. Teegan loves to continue growing her knowledge and is always taking part in training courses.

Julie has been in the industry for 35 years and still feels incredibly passionate about her chosen profession, the diversity of hairdressing is something she thrives on; just the same as when she started all those years ago.

Julie has entered in many hair competitions and has been lucky enough to walk away as winner of multiple of the competitions.

Julie is a qualified hairdressing teacher and loves being in the salon with the apprentices and other stylists as she gets to use those skills to help them flourish; passing on her knowledge with the next generation is something she really enjoys.

Jo is the previous owner of South Terrace Hair & Beauty. She has been hairdressing for over 25 years within the industry. Jo has participated and adjudicated in many hair dressing shows and competitions locally and internationally.

Jo still welcomes her existing clients and loves giving them a great pamper. When Jo isn’t in the salon she is lending a hand in her local community.

Rosie has had a life time in the hairdressing industry and still loves every aspect of the industry and her clients. She has worked on the floor and behind the scenes and knows the ins and outs of salon life.

Rosie is a world of knowledge who is often looked up to by all our staff (our salon legend). Rosie loves and looks forward to pampering her existing clients at there next appointment. 

Chloe is our 3rd year apprentice. She is eager to learn as much as possible from our senior staff and Keune training courses. Chloe is very passionate about all colour including foiling, balayage and creative colours.

Chloe is currently growing her clientele to which she enjoys building a relationships and repour. When Chloe isn’t busy in the salon she loves to broaden her knowledge through watching hair influences. 

Emily is our 2nd year apprentice. She is always eager to learn from and watch our seniors and loves a good challenge. She especially loves styling and blowaves as well as pampering our clients during their service. Emily is looking forward to building her knowledge in the industry as she goes through her apprenticeship.

Teegan (also known as TJ ) is our 1^st year apprentice. TJ is a qualified nail technician however started her hairdressing journey in late 2023 to expand her knowledge in the beauty industry. TJ is looking forward to smashing out her apprenticeship ad getting every last drop of knowledge out of my senior hairstylists and continue to grow personally and professionally. In her spare time, TJ loves being outdoors, reading, and being with family.

Chloe is one of the new beauty therapists at Enhanced Hair & Beauty. She has been in the industry for 3 years and performs all our beauty treatments here but her main passion is brow and skin. She is excited to be working with DML to help her clients achieve optimal function with their skin to reach their skin goals.

In her spare time she enjoy travelling and spending quality time with family and friends.

Suez, started hairdressing in 1998, in her career she has been blessed to have been a business owner and travel with her trade many times for international and interstate engagements and opportunities.  She loves working along her work family so dearly (staff and clients the same). She loves to have a banter and is light hearted with her clients but is readily available to give an honest opinion to the hair and desired outcome.

Suez contracts 7 days a fortnight and has a beautiful boy that was born in 2017, she loves to gym, run and walk the salons most infamous friend Gordon (chocolate lab)
